case study: Nielsen-Massey Vanillas

Nielsen-Massey Vanillas is more than 100 years old and is widely recognized as the best flavor extract producer in the world: professionals know this, but how do you get this message to the average home chef? Through our partnership with Savor - The Food Agency, we created a strategy to continually put strong story ideas in front of a tailored food media audience. We also targeted trade media at the various industry tradeshows that Nielsen-Massey participates in throughout the year and reached out to several food bloggers to host reviews and giveaways.
In the course of 12 months, we generated more than 800 media stories highlighting NMV products, partnerships with high-end chefs, and the Nielsen-Massey Vanillas cookbook, A Century of Flavor. All which has helped establish Nielsen-Massey as a go-to gourmet food and vanilla resource in its local Chicago community and beyond.
